A large, upscale country club community, Mirasol is one of Palm Beach Gardens’ premier residential addresses.  There are more than 2000 homes in Mirasol scattered among 27 neighborhoods of primarily large single family residences.  There are also smaller coach homes in the community. Both year 'round and seasonal residents call Mirasol home. Two challenging golf courses, one designed by Tom Fazio and the other by Arthur Hills, wind through the community. Developer Taylor Woodrow Communities, designed Mirasol to include an significant amount of preserve areas which provide an open feeling throughout the community in addition to the golf courses.  Many of the homes back onto a golf course, lake or preserve providing a measure of privacy for residents.   An impressive club house includes a large gym, card rooms, aerobics studios, spa facilities and dining areas.  There are 15 tennis courts and an active program for both adults and children. In early 2015 the membership of Mirasol Country Club voted to begin a $40 million renovation to facilities which will be paid for by a membership assessment over time.    

Recent Market Activity -  Mirasol home prices declined about five percent between the first quarter of 2015 and the same period of 2015.  The median price of a Mirasol home in the first three months of 2015 was $600,000 compared to $630,000 for the same period in 2014.  The median price of homes sold in Mirasol during 2014 was $767,500 in a range from the low $400,000's up to more than $2 million.  In early fall, 2014 home prices in Mirasol were up about 12 percent from the low point in 2011, providing great opportunities to buy a lovely home at a reasonably price. 

Older Market Activity -- From January through late October, 2014, there were 70 homes sold in Mirasol and they averaged $250 per square foot, with those selling under $1 million averaging $204 per square foot and those above $1 million averaging $349 per square foot.   By end of summer, 2013 prices in Mirasol increased 13 percent over the same time period in 2012.  By early September 2013 there were 53 homes sold in Mirasol averaging $247 per square foot.  From 2010 until mid-year 2012 prices of homes in Mirasol have remained reasonably steady, declining just five percent in the two and a half year period.  During the first six months of 2012 there were 44 homes sold in Mirasol averaging $215.50 per square foot.  Prices and sales held reasonably steady in Mirasol in 2011. There were 64 homes sold in 2011 averaging $221 per square foot.  There were 64 homes sold during 2010 averaging $226 per square footcompared with a total of 54 homes sold in Mirasol during 2009 averaging $234 per square foot. The price decline in Mirasol is minor compared with other similar communities.  Coach homes in Mirasol have increased significantly in price from 2009 through the end of  2010 going from $174 a square foot up to $191.50 a square foot, an increase of about nine percent. At the beginning of October, 2010 there were 119 homes on the market in Mirasol, 27 of them priced under $600,000.  This is an outstanding community with many homes value priced today for new buyers.    Mirasol is located in northern Palm Beach Gardens, just west of Florida’s Turnpike, off of PGA Boulevard.
