Admirals Cove - Adminrals Cove is an exclusive country club community that encompasses both boating and 54 holes of golf. The homes, built from the 1980's to the present, range in price from $500,000 to $30,000,000. Many of the homes have private docks on the six miles of canals that provide direct access to the Intracoastal and Atlantic Ocean with no fixed bridges. Other amenities include a bank, hair salon, spa, fitness center, and four restaurants. Club membership is required with a variety of options from social to full golf memberships available. Admirals Cove is located on Alt A1A just north of Donald Ross Road.
Ritz-Carlton -- True to its name and reputation, the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and Spa touts its passion for service. With just 81 single family homes and 50 fractional ownership properties, this small community of upscale homes features 24-hour concierge service, a Jack Nicklaus golf course, a world class spa and high end amenities. Prices start between $1 and $2 million for a single family home and range up to more than $4 million. Fractional ownership starts in the mid $200,000's for an annual 30-day stay. Homeowner dues and golf dues are additional. The community, which was completed in 2003, is home to seasonal residents, empty nesters and active families. Recent Market Activity -- From January until mid-December 2009 six homes sold at The Ritz-Carlton. They ranged in price from $1,675,000 for a 3936 square foot, four bedroom, four bath home to $2,965,000 for a 5102 square foot, four bedroom, four bath home. Sales in 2009 averaged $455 a square foot, down 22 percent from sales in 2008. In 2008, there were five homes sold at the Ritz-Carlton and they averaged $617 per square foot. The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and Spa is located between Donald Ross and Frederick Small Road just east of Alternate A1A.
