Market Report - Nov 2009
Palm Beach Gardens home sales in September remained strong as prices saw a small decline over August statistics, according to the Florida Association of Realtors. There were 746 homes sold throughout Palm Beach County in September, slightly less than the 754 homes sold in August. The median price of a single family house was $242,900, just about one percent lower than the $245,700 median price of August. Indications are that prices for single family homes in Palm Beach Gardens and throughout the county bottomed last February when the median price hit $228,100. The high price point this year so far was seen in June at $250,300, likely the result of end of season buying. It is a fabulous time to purchase a home throughout Palm Beach County as inventories remain high and prices appear to be stabilizing.
