But the Congress extended the program and expanded it to some existing homeowners helping to spur sales and an increase in prices. Prices now are about where they were in July, 2003 when the median price of a single family home was $244,500. The condo market saw an equal jump in prices throughout the county with the median price of a condo reaching $111,400 in December, 8 percent higher than in November. And sales of condos jumped about 10 percent in December over November.
